Sarah Matthes

“Kasey”

Sarah is an English major in the creative writing concentration at Yale University. She is the literary editor of the Yale Literary Magazine and Yale Poetry Review. When she’s not reading, writing, and yelling about poetry, she loves performing in and seeing theater. Favorite roles have included Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Metamorphoses (Hunger, Myrrha), Phantoms Go Down (Rosalind), and Rabbit Hole (Izzy). Though her post-graduate plans are as of yet unclear, they will most certainly have to do with words, and the nice orders in which they are want to be arranged. She comprises the one-woman ukulele band “Ducdame,” which as of yet has never performed live and has no songs.
